Description

A delightful blend of creamy Brie coated with crunchy pistachios and topped with sweet fig jam, perfect as an elegant appetizer or a holiday treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese
  • 1 cup shelled roasted pistachios, coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary or thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Chop the pistachios coarsely.
  3. Place the Brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle honey over it and press the chopped pistachios around the cheese.
  4. Sprinkle freshly chopped herbs over the pistachios.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the Brie starts to bubble.
  6. Remove from the oven and spoon fig jam over the top.
  7. Serve warm with slices of crusty bread, crackers, or fresh fruit.

Notes

For best results, allow Brie to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before baking. Avoid overbaking to maintain the soft texture.
