Scale
  • 68 ripe plums, sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

  2. Wash and slice the plums, removing the pits, and place them in a large bowl.
  3. Add granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon to the plums, tossing until well-coated. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, combine rolled oats, brown sugar, flour, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly. Optionally, add nuts.

  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and plums are bubbling.
  7. Allow to cool briefly before serving warm.
