- 6–8 ripe plums, sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Wash and slice the plums, removing the pits, and place them in a large bowl.
- Add granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon to the plums, tossing until well-coated. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine rolled oats, brown sugar, flour, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly. Optionally, add nuts.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the plums.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and plums are bubbling.
- Allow to cool briefly before serving warm.
