Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry (pre-rolled)
  • 1 cup burrata cheese (or fresh mozzarella)
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries (or frozen, thawed)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary (or dried herbs)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash or milk for vegan option)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about a ¼-inch thickness. Cut the pastry into triangular shapes, resembling tree silhouettes.
  3. Create layers by stacking the triangles on top of each other, leaving space at the base for a trunk.
  4. Brush each layer with an egg wash or milk.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until beautifully puffed and golden brown.
  6. Prepare the cranberry glaze by cooking cranberries with honey and chopped rosemary over medium heat until thickened, about 10 minutes.
  7. Assemble by placing burrata in the center of a platter and stacking the puff pastry trees around it. Drizzle with cranberry glaze.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
