- 1 tube of crescent roll dough
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack blend)
- 1 cup diced ham (optional)
- 1 cup sautéed mushrooms (cremini and shiitake)
- 1/2 cup bell peppers (optional)
- 1/2 cup fresh spinach (optional)
- Fresh herbs (parsley or chives) for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook your choice of meat (if using) until browned; add chopped mushrooms and veggies and sauté until tender.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the greased baking dish to create a crust.
- Layer the sautéed mixture on top of the dough, followed by the cheese, then pour the egg mixture over everything.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until puffed and golden, covering with foil if browning too quickly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing, then garnish with fresh herbs.
