Decadent Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies that blend the rich flavors of red velvet cake with creamy cheesecake filling.

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the granulated and brown sugar until combined.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in vanilla extract and buttermilk, then stir in cocoa powder, flour, and red food coloring until just combined.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract for the cheesecake layer.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spread the cheesecake mixture over it, followed by the remaining brownie batter and swirl to marble.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the edges are set but the center is slightly soft.
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute with almond flour. Allow brownies to cool completely before slicing for better texture.
