- 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark)
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups powdered sugar

Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by gathering all ingredients and lining a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine 8 cups of Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl.
- Melt together 1 cup of chocolate chips, ½ cup of creamy peanut butter, and 2 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently fold to coat all pieces.
- Transfer the mixture into a large resealable bag filled with 1½ cups of powdered sugar. Seal and shake gently to coat evenly.
- Spread the coated cereal back onto the lined baking sheet and let cool for about 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle festive sprinkles over the top.
- Break apart any large clusters once cool, and store in an airtight container.
Notes
Be patient when melting the chocolate to avoid burning it. Use a large resealable bag for even coating.
