- 1 Butterball turkey breast
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 onion, quartered
- 1 lemon, quartered
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Rinse the turkey breast under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
- Rub softened butter all over the turkey breast, including under the skin.
- Generously sprinkle the turkey with salt, pepper, and your selection of herbs.
- Inside the cavity, add quartered onions, garlic cloves, and lemon wedges.
- Place the turkey breast on a roasting pan with a rack.
- Insert an instant-read thermometer into the thickest part of the breast and roast for about 1.5 to 2 hours until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Baste the turkey every 30 minutes with the pan juices.
- Once cooked, allow the turkey breast to rest for about 15-20 minutes before slicing.
- Serve and enjoy with your favorite sides.

Avoid overcooking by monitoring the internal temperature closely. Rest the turkey after cooking to let the juices redistribute.
