Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh cracked pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the green beans by rinsing and trimming the ends, then place them in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the beans and add minced garlic, salt, and pepper; toss until evenly coated.
  4. Spread green beans in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle a generous amount of grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until beans are blistered and cheese is golden brown, shaking the pan halfway through.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Can substitute green beans with kale or Brussels sprouts. Adding lemon zest can enhance the flavor.
