- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cracked pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare the green beans by rinsing and trimming the ends, then place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Drizzle olive oil over the beans and add minced garlic, salt, and pepper; toss until evenly coated.
- Spread green beans in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until beans are blistered and cheese is golden brown, shaking the pan halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Can substitute green beans with kale or Brussels sprouts. Adding lemon zest can enhance the flavor.
