Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, warm a drizzle of olive oil and add chopped onions and minced garlic. Cook until the onions are translucent and fragrant.
- Crumble in your ground sausage, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through, approximately 5-7 minutes.
- Add crushed tomatoes and your choice of broth. Stir well and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
- Once boiling, add the lasagna noodles and cook according to package instructions (usually around 8-10 minutes) until al dente, stirring often.
- When the noodles are tender, reduce heat and swirl in ricotta cheese, letting it melt into the soup, followed by mozzarella just before serving.
