Ingredients

- 1 pound large shrimp, deveined and shelled
- 1 cup fresh or Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried oregano)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
- In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, minced garlic, oregano, olive oil, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
- Evenly sprinkle breadcrumb mixture and Parmesan cheese on top of the cooked shrimp.
- Preheat the oven’s broiler. Place the skillet under the broiler for 3-5 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Serve with a side of arugula salad or garlic bread to soak up the sauce.
