Instructions
- Trim excess fat from the beef chuck roast and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In a skillet, sear the seasoned beef on high heat until browned on all sides.

- Place the beef in the slow cooker, top it with the sautéed mixture, and pour BBQ sauce over it.
