  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth

Instructions

  1. Prepare the beef: Cut the beef into bite-sized chunks. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Sauté aromatics: In a skillet, melt a tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion, sautéing until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Layer in the slow cooker: Place the seasoned beef at the bottom of the slow cooker. Top with sautéed onions and garlic, followed by baby potatoes.
  4. Sprinkle the fresh herbs over the top, and pour beef broth evenly, ensuring the potatoes are partially submerged.
  5. Cut the remaining butter into small cubes and dot them over the top of the mixture.
