Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  4. Fold in cooked beef, sautéed onions, and cheese if desired.
  5. Heat a lightly greased skillet over medium-low heat. Pour ¼ cup of batter onto skillet, cooking until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  6. Repeat with remaining batter, keeping pancakes warm in a low oven as needed.
