Ingredients
- Cake mix (vanilla or chocolate)
- Butter
- Eggs
- Vanilla extract
- Chocolate chips or candy melts
- Edible decorations (mini marshmallows, chocolate sprinkles, food-safe markers)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven and follow the instructions on the cake mix box to bake the cake in a greased pan until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large mixing bowl until fine crumbs form.
- Add frosting to the crumbled cake, mixing until it forms a cohesive dough.
- Roll the mixture into balls, making some larger for the snowman’s body and smaller for the head.
- Chill the formed cake pops on a lined baking sheet for about 30 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip the end of a lollipop stick in melted chocolate before inserting it into each cake pop.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate and immediately decorate with treats before the coating hardens.
- Let the pops set upright until the coating hardens.
Notes
Experiment with different flavors by adding peppermint or orange zest. Use different decorations to create unique designs.
