  • Pastry Dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground Coriander
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped Onion
  • 2 cloves minced Garlic
  • Fresh Mint (chopped)
  • Fresh Cilantro (chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Ripe Mango (peeled and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Ginger (grated)
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough by mixing flour and water until a soft dough forms; let it rest under a damp cloth.
  2. Make the Filling: In a skillet, heat oil, sauté onions until golden, add garlic, then ground lamb; cook until browned.
  3. Add spices to the filling and mix well.
  4. Fold in chopped mint and cilantro into the filling.
  5. Assemble the Samosas: Roll dough, cut into circles, fill, and fold into triangles, sealing edges with water.
  6. Fry or Bake the Samosas until golden brown.
  7. For Mango Chutney, combine mango, sugar, vinegar, ginger, and spices in a pot; cook until thickened.

Notes
