Instructions

  2. Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and spices. Whisk together.
  3. Cream the butter and sugars in another large bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the molasses until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
