Description

Crispy and tender steak strips seasoned to perfection, perfect as a main dish or a finger food appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Oil for frying (canola or vegetable)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steak: Start by slicing your choice of steak into strips.
  2. Season the Meat: Sprinkle the steak strips with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Allow to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Set Up Breading Station: In one bowl, whisk the eggs. In another, place the breadcrumbs.
  4. Coat the Steak Fingers: Dip each strip of steak into the egg, then roll it in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry to Perfection: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the Steak Fingers for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Drain and Serve: Remove from the skillet and let them drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use almond flour or panko. Ensure oil is hot before frying and do not overcrowd the pan.
