Description

Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, these Steak Fingers are perfect for sharing with family and friends, making any meal a celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank or sirloin steak
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the steak by cutting it into thin strips, about 1 inch wide.
  2. Season the flour with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Coat each steak strip in the egg mixture, letting the excess drip off, then dredge it through the seasoned flour.
  5. Heat about half an inch of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the coated strips in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

Ensure the oil is hot to prevent sogginess. Experiment with seasonings for a unique twist.
