- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese together until smooth and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Gradually add the granulated and brown sugars, beating well until incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped fresh strawberries into the dough.
- Drop balls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing a couple of inches apart. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
Notes
For an extra touch, sprinkle the cookies with powdered sugar before serving.
