Description
A nourishing and vibrant breakfast of rolled oats, chia seeds, and fresh strawberries, perfect for busy mornings or leisurely brunches.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 cup almond milk (or your choice of milk)
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup, honey, or agave nectar
Instructions
- In a bowl or mason jar, mix the rolled oats and chia seeds.
- Pour in your chosen milk and stir well to combine.
- Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of your preferred sweetener and mix.
- Gently fold in the diced fresh strawberries.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least for 4 hours).
- The next morning, stir the oats and add more milk if desired. Top with additional strawberries, nuts, or seeds as needed.
Notes
If you don’t have chia seeds, ground flaxseed can be an alternative, though it won’t provide the same thickness.
