Delicious turnovers filled with sweet strawberries and creamy cheese, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients

- 1 package puff pastry, thawed
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine strawberries, powdered sugar, and vanilla; mix well.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- On a floured surface, roll out puff pastry and cut into 4×4 inch squares.
- Place a spoonful of cream cheese and strawberries on one half of each square.
- Fold pastry over to form a triangle and crimp edges to seal.
- Brush tops with egg wash if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
These turnovers can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
