  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mushrooms: Clean and finely chop the mushrooms. Sauté them in a skillet with olive oil until golden brown and tender. Add garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  2. Mix the filling: In a bowl, combine the sautéed mushrooms and garlic with cream cheese, sour cream, herbs, and half of your cheese. Stir until well blended.
  3. Transfer to a baking dish: Spoon the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Add cheese topping: Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  5. Bake it right: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
