- 4 slices crusty bread (sourdough or ciabatta)
- 4–6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh herbs (parsley or basil), chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, combine softened butter with minced garlic, a pinch of salt, and chopped herbs.
- Slice the crusty bread into 1-inch thick slices.
- Spread the garlic butter generously over each slice of bread.
- Top each bread slice with a hearty handful of mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, until the edges are golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with additional herbs, serve warm.
