Description

A comforting garlic cheese toast that combines the richness of butter, cheese, and garlic, creating a delightful crispy treat.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices crusty bread (sourdough or ciabatta)
  • 46 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or basil), chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine softened butter with minced garlic, a pinch of salt, and chopped herbs.
  3. Slice the crusty bread into 1-inch thick slices.
  4. Spread the garlic butter generously over each slice of bread.
  5. Top each bread slice with a hearty handful of mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, until the edges are golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with additional herbs, serve warm.
