- 1 loaf of sourdough or ciabatta bread
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish
- Olive oil, optional
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat; add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Mix in mozzarella and parmesan until well combined.
- Slice the bread into 1-inch thick pieces and lay on a baking sheet.
- Sprea the garlic cheese mixture generously on each slice.
- Sprinkle fresh herbs over the top.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For a vegan option, substitute butter and cheese with plant-based alternatives. You can also add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick!
