Description

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of sourdough or ciabatta bread
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish
  • Olive oil, optional

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat; add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Mix in mozzarella and parmesan until well combined.
  3. Slice the bread into 1-inch thick pieces and lay on a baking sheet.
  4. Sprea the garlic cheese mixture generously on each slice.
  5. Sprinkle fresh herbs over the top.
  6. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute butter and cheese with plant-based alternatives. You can also add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick!
