- 4 medium sweet potatoes

Instructions
- Peel and cube the sweet potatoes into 1-inch pieces.
- Place them in a large pot, cover with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender.
- Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot or mixing bowl. Mash until smooth.
- Stir in the butter, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and season with salt and black pepper. Adjust to taste.
- Spoon the mashed sweet potatoes onto a serving dish. Serve warm.
