- 1 sheet butter puff pastry
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup fresh cranberries (or canned cranberry sauce)
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the butter puff pastry on a lightly floured surface, rolling it to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Spread the cream cheese evenly over the pastry, reaching the edges.
- Add a layer of cranberries on top of the cream cheese, followed by honey or maple syrup and chopped herbs.
- Roll the pastry into a tight log shape, starting from one edge.
- Slice the log into 1-inch thick slices and place them cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving, warm or at room temperature.
Notes
These pinwheels can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge before baking. They are versatile and can be paired with sparkling wine or a light salad.
