Description

A flavorful dish that combines rich salmon with buttery garlic and fresh herbs for an instant family favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Fresh salmon fillets
  • 2 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley or dill, for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Honey or brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper. Let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until bubbly. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Carefully place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Drizzle with lemon juice and cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Once the edges start to flake, gently flip the fillets and cook for another 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh herbs. Plate and drizzle any remaining garlic butter on top.

Notes

For an added sweetness, consider mixing in honey or brown sugar with the garlic butter before serving.
