Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of cake mix (any flavor)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil or melted butter
  • Festive heart-shaped sprinkles
  • Optional mix-ins: chocolate chips, nuts, or any candy of choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and oil or melted butter. Stir until just combined.
  3. Fold in your choice of sprinkles or chocolate chips, mixing gently.
  4. Drop generous portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space in between.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are lightly golden. Remove them when slightly underbaked.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For chewier cookies, chill the dough for about 30 minutes before baking. A dash of lemon or orange zest enhances the flavor.
