  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped walnuts.
  6. Drop rounded mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  8. Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute coconut oil for butter. You can also use pecans in place of walnuts.
