- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream or milk
- Green food coloring
- Decorative toppings (gummy worms, crushed cookies, chocolate sprinkles, edible glitter)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your baking pan or use cupcake liners.
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions.
- Once the cake is done, allow it to cool completely before crumbling it into small pieces.
- For the frosting, combine butter with powdered sugar in a mixing bowl. Start with 1 cup and gradually add heavy cream or milk until you reach a smooth consistency. Add green food coloring.
- Using jars, layer crumbled cake and green frosting. Alternate layers until you reach the top of the jar.
- Finish with your choice of decorative toppings.
- Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator to set.
