- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 cups mini marshmallows
- 2 teaspoons Thai tea
- 8 cups Rice Krispies
- Pinch of salt
- Optional mix-ins: toasted coconut, chopped nuts, or chocolate
Instructions
- Prep the tea: Brew two teaspoons of Thai tea in half a cup of boiling water, steep for 5 minutes, strain, and set aside.
- Melt the butter: In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the marshmallows: Stir in the mini marshmallows until fully melted and combined.
- Pour in the brewed Thai tea and a pinch of salt, stirring until well incorporated.
- Mix in Rice Krispies: Remove from heat and stir until the cereal is evenly coated.
- Press into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, firmly creating an even layer.
- Cool for 10-15 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free Rice Krispies. Wet hands slightly when pressing the mixture to prevent sticking.
