Description
A quick and delicious crab linguine recipe that balances richness and freshness, ideal for family dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz linguine
- 8 oz fresh crab meat
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil and butter. Sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a minute to reduce.
- Fold in the fresh crab meat once the linguine is almost ready, allowing it to warm through for a minute.
- Drain the linguine, reserving a bit of the cooking water, and add it to the skillet, tossing it with the crab and sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed.
- Squeeze in lemon juice, toss in the chopped herbs, and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, serve garnished with more herbs or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
