Description

A quick and delicious crab linguine recipe that balances richness and freshness, ideal for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine
  • 8 oz fresh crab meat
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil and butter. Sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a minute to reduce.
  4. Fold in the fresh crab meat once the linguine is almost ready, allowing it to warm through for a minute.
  5. Drain the linguine, reserving a bit of the cooking water, and add it to the skillet, tossing it with the crab and sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed.
  6. Squeeze in lemon juice, toss in the chopped herbs, and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve garnished with more herbs or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
