Description

Delicious and healthy air fryer turkey meatballs infused with fresh herbs and garlic, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (white or whole wheat)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray for the air fryer

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, egg, Parmesan, and your chosen herbs and spices. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Lightly coat the air fryer basket with olive oil or cooking spray.
  5. Place the meatballs in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between them.
  6. Air fry for 12-15 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

These meatballs can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator or frozen for later use. Great served with pasta or as appetizers.
