- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups grated apples (Gala or Honeycrisp)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease your donut pan with butter or cooking spray.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla in another bowl.
- Fold the grated apples into the wet mixture.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until combined.
- Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity 2/3 full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and salt for the glaze.
- Dip each cooled donut into the glaze and allow to set.
