Description
A creamy, zesty sauce over tender baked salmon, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Salmon fillets (wild-caught preferred)
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- Fresh Herbs (Dill or Parsley), for garnish
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the salmon by placing it skin-side down in a greased baking dish and seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Make the Lemon Butter Cream Sauce by melting butter in a saucepan, adding minced garlic and sautéing until fragrant. Slowly whisk in heavy cream and lemon juice. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened, then stir in fresh herbs.
- Pour the sauce over the salmon evenly and bake for approximately 20 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with additional fresh herbs and lemon zest if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the salmon reaches a safe internal temperature of 145°F (60°C). Consider adding capers or sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor.
