  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Paleo

Description

A creamy, zesty sauce over tender baked salmon, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Salmon fillets (wild-caught preferred)
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Fresh Herbs (Dill or Parsley), for garnish
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the salmon by placing it skin-side down in a greased baking dish and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Make the Lemon Butter Cream Sauce by melting butter in a saucepan, adding minced garlic and sautéing until fragrant. Slowly whisk in heavy cream and lemon juice. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened, then stir in fresh herbs.
  4. Pour the sauce over the salmon evenly and bake for approximately 20 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Garnish with additional fresh herbs and lemon zest if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure the salmon reaches a safe internal temperature of 145°F (60°C). Consider adding capers or sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor.
