Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together until combined, then let cool slightly.
- Whisk the eggs, vanilla extract, and brown sugar in a separate bowl.
- Fold in the melted chocolate mixture.
- Combine the mashed bananas into the chocolate mixture.
- Add the sifted flour and baking powder, incorporating gently.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch cake pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
