- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Sear the beef: Heat olive oil in a dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear the beef until browned on all sides for maximum flavor.
- Sauté the aromatics: Lower the heat and toss in sliced onions and minced garlic. Stir frequently until fragrant.
- Add broth and simmer: Pour in beef stock and soy sauce, bringing to a gentle boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes.
- Incorporate noodles and vegetables: After the beef is tender, add the egg noodles and diced carrots. Let return to a simmer and cook according to noodle package directions, adding frozen peas in the last few minutes.
- Season to taste: Before serving, adjust seasoning with salt and pepper and add a dash of Worcestershire sauce if desired.
- Serve: Ladle into bowls, garnishing with fresh parsley or green onions.
