- 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the crust by placing it in a 9-inch pie plate and prick the bottom with a fork.
- Sauté the vegetables by melting butter in a skillet. Add onions and sauté until translucent, then add the mushrooms and cook until tender and golden brown.
- Whisk together eggs, cream, nutmeg, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Stir in sautéed vegetables, herbs, and cheese.
- Combine the egg mixture with the prepared crust, ensuring even distribution.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
- Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
