- 4 ripe pears (Bosc or Anjou)
- 1 cup blue cheese (Roquefort or Gorgonzola)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme or rosemary
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Halve the pears lengthwise and scoop out the centers.
- Mix the blue cheese, nuts, and herbs in a bowl.
- Stuff each pear half generously with the mixture.
- Place the stuffed pears on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for about 15–20 minutes until tender and bubbly.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use firm pears to hold their shape. Adjust baking time for ripeness. Serve warm or at room temperature.
