Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 2 cups Fresh Broccoli florets
  • 4 strips Bacon (regular or turkey)
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream (or cream cheese)
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: crushed red pepper for heat

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté the chicken in the same skillet, seasoned with salt and pepper, for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Add minced garlic and chopped broccoli to the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until bright green.
  5. Pour in the cream (or cream cheese), stirring and simmering for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return the chicken and crumble the crispy bacon into the pan, then add the cheddar cheese, allowing it to melt.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for about 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.

Notes

Let the dish rest for a few minutes after baking to allow the sauce to thicken and cool slightly.
