Instructions
- Brown the butter in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown and nutty.
- In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar and granulated sugar. Add browned butter and mix until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Sift together flour and salt in another bowl, then gradually add to the wet mixture, folding until a dough forms.
- Add chocolate chunks and mix until evenly distributed.
- Roll dough into balls about one inch in size, place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and flatten gently.
- Chill the cookies in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
