- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar, plus extra for dusting
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and chopped pecans, mixing until fully combined.
- Incorporate the flour and a pinch of salt, stirring until just combined.
- Form small balls of dough, about 1 inch in diameter, and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until light golden on the bottom.
- Cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and dust generously with powdered sugar.
- Dust again with powdered sugar for an extra snowy finish once fully cooled.
Notes
Best enjoyed with tea or coffee. Can be made ahead and stored at room temperature.
