Ingredients

  • 1012 Fresh mint leaves
  • 1 Lime, juiced
  • 2 oz Light rum
  • ¼ cup Heavy cream
  • 12 tbsp Simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Club soda
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mint by rinsing and patting dry the leaves. Place in a sturdy glass and gently muddle to release the oils.
  2. Add the juice of one lime and 1-2 tablespoons of simple syrup to the glass, mixing gently.
  3. Incorporate 2 ounces of light rum over the muddled mixture.
  4. Mix in ¼ cup of heavy cream, stirring gently.
  5. Fill the glass with ice cubes and top with club soda.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint and a slice of lime.
  7. Serve and enjoy slowly.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and top with additional club soda. Can substitute heavy cream with coconut milk.
