Description
Crispy, spicy, and seriously addictive tarts filled with seasoned chicken, creamy cheese, and delicious potatoes.

- 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken (breast or thighs)
- 2 cups Potatoes (Russets or Yukon golds)
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 tsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tsp Paprika
- ½ tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 package Puff pastry (store-bought)
- 1 Egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped chicken and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne. Cook until chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Dice cooked potatoes and fold them in with the chicken.
- Add in the cheese and fresh herbs, mixing well to combine.
- Lightly flour your countertop and roll out the pastry dough to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut circles out of the dough using a round cutter or glass.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle. Fold over to create half-moon shapes and pinch the edges to seal.
- Beat an egg and brush the tops of tarts for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm or allow to cool slightly before presenting on a platter.
Notes
For a lighter option, serve with a fresh side salad. Enjoy leftovers reheated in the oven for best texture.
