- 1 box brownie mix or homemade brownies
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 quart of your favorite ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the brownie batter by melting butter, adding sugar, then eggs one by one, and finally folding in cocoa powder and flour.
- Bake the brownies in a greased 9×13 inch pan for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely.
- Assemble sandwiches by cutting brownies into squares and placing a scoop of ice cream between two squares. Press gently.
- Chill in the freezer for at least an hour to firm up.
- Serve and enjoy after letting them sit for 5 minutes out of the freezer.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with gluten-free flour. Use coconut oil for a dairy-free variation.
