Ingredients
- Brownies (homemade or box mix)
- Fresh or thawed frozen pitted cherries
- Semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- Butter
- Confectioner’s sugar
- Vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to your brownie mix/package instructions and prepare a baking pan.
- Bake the brownies until a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs.
- Let brownies cool completely, then chop into small squares or crumbles.
- Wash and pit cherries, then chop them into smaller pieces.
- In a bowl, combine brownie crumbs and cherries, mixing well.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip each brownie bomb into the melted chocolate and allow excess to drip off.
- Chill again for 10-15 minutes to let the chocolate set.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Ensure brownies are completely cooled to avoid excessive moisture. You can dust with confectioner’s sugar or drizzle extra chocolate for presentation.
