- 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour and salt to the mixture, blending until just incorporated.
- Scoop the dough using a tablespoon and roll it into a ball. Shape it into a wreath by pinching the ends together.
- Place the wreaths on the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie. Add sprinkles or nuts if desired.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, use coconut oil or a plant-based butter. Experiment with flavors by adding almond or lemon zest.
