  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping potatoes, celery, and carrots into bite-sized pieces and mincing the garlic and onion.
  2. Brown the ground beef and onion together in a skillet over medium-high heat until the meat is fully cooked. Add garlic in the last minute.
  3. Combine the browned meat mixture in the slow cooker with the chopped vegetables and seasonings. Gently mix together.
  4. Pour in the beef broth until the ingredients are just covered.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
  6. Finish with heavy cream about 30 minutes before serving for a velvety texture.
  7. Taste and adjust seasonings before serving.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or chives.
