Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 8 ounces dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon ginger
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine flour, butter, and sugar in a mixing bowl until coarse crumbs form. Press into tart pan and chill for 15 minutes.
- Bake crust for about 20 minutes or until golden.
- Melt dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
- Whisk together pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, heavy cream, and spices in another bowl.
- Stir in melted chocolate until well blended.
- Pour filling into crust and bake for 25-30 minutes until set in the center.
- Cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for a delightful treat.
