Description

A rich and velvety tart combining the flavors of dark chocolate and pumpkin, perfect for autumn gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine flour, butter, and sugar in a mixing bowl until coarse crumbs form. Press into tart pan and chill for 15 minutes.
  3. Bake crust for about 20 minutes or until golden.
  4. Melt dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
  5. Whisk together pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, heavy cream, and spices in another bowl.
  6. Stir in melted chocolate until well blended.
  7. Pour filling into crust and bake for 25-30 minutes until set in the center.
  8. Cool completely before slicing and serving.
