  • 1/2 cup (115 g) Unsalted Butter, melted
  • Whipped Cream or Cream Cheese Frosting, for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Prepare the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. Mix the cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  4. Whisk in buttermilk, vanilla extract, and red food coloring, scraping down the sides.
  5. Fold in the sifted flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter over the crust and bake for 55-65 minutes until the edges are set.
  7. Cool in the oven for an hour, then chill in the refrigerator for at least four hours.
  8. Serve with whipped cream or frosting on top, garnished with sprinkles or cocoa powder.
